Golden Retriever Rescue (GRREAT)

Hercules' original owners were a couple of lawyers. Their law practice got so busy they felt they could not give him the time and attention that he needed and deserved, so they turned him over to GRREAT (Golden Retriever Rescue, Education and Training) when he was about five years old. He was adopted by a family but was returned to GRREAT because the new family could not deal with his "obsession with human food."

We adopted him on March 2, 2002. He is very fond of human food and likes to steal food from the kitchen table or counter, but we are dealing with that. We have just formed better habits ourselves.

He is the sweetest, most loving, most huggable dog we've had and he brings so much pleasure and love to us.
