Presents a narrative about

P E G G Y - O

Montgomery County SPCA

Owners: Gian and Susie

Breed: Beagle/Lab Mix Age: 5 years old

Sex: Female Weight: 40 lbs.

We found Peggy-O in April of 1999, when she was 1.5 years old, on the Montgomery County SPCA web site. After being interviewed and selected from 3 other couples trying to adopt her, we finally made her our own. This was her bio on the web site:

Peggy is an active, loving young girl. She is a Beagle-sized Lab, with the Lab personality and Beagle ears. Her tail is constantly wagging. Peggy loves people, other dogs, everyone and everything. She is crate-trained and housebroken, and walks pretty nicely on a leash, pulls a little when excited.

She is active, without being hyper. Peggy could stand to lose a few pounds right now like many of us, so she is on a restricted diet. At her ideal weight, she will be about 30 lbs.

Please consider adding Peggy to your family.

You will be glad you did.

Peggy has proved to be a loving, sweet, gentle and affectionate dog. She likes to be in the middle of things. Whatever we are doing, that's her thing, too. We couldn't have asked for a better dog. We have gone through two stages of Greenbelt Dog Training which greatly improved her obedience skills. We are so thankful that we found the perfect dog, and show her off whenever possible.

We would recommend to everyone who wanted a dog, to first look at one of the many adoption sites, so that you could give a good home to needy friend
